“Ginga Sui”, which literally means “gold river water”, carries almost all the properties of gold itself. It is ancient—coming from groundwater activity that has lasted for more than thousands of years. Like the precious metal which occurs deeply buried in strata of rock, the source of the Ginga Sui is found deep underground in the Kirishimu Mountains in Kyushu island. And like its namesake, it costs more than regular bottled water—two liters retail at 1,200 yen (US$11.60).
