FrieslandCampina Ingredients, a global leader in proteins and prebiotics, will return to SupplySide Global (October 27-30, 2025) in Las Vegas, Nevada. At booth #3751, the company will demonstrate its application expertise with a range of delicious, healthy snacks, drinks, and supplements made with Excellion® caseinates, Biotis® GOS, and Fermentis. Visitors are invited to taste, explore, and uncover the trends behind each innovative application – crafted to deliver flavor, texture, and functionality.

Excellion®: high-protein power

Consumers’ drive to meet daily protein goals has been accelerated by rising GLP-1 use, as many seek convenient, nutrient-rich options to bridge dietary gaps. FrieslandCampina Ingredients will spotlight the importance of protein in meeting a variety of health goals with its range of Excellion® Caseinates at SupplySide Global.

These premium casein proteins provide a slow and steady release of amino acids,1 supporting long-lasting muscle protein synthesis2 – ideal for overnight formulations in active and performance nutrition, as well as in GLP-1 companion products. Visitors can see these benefits in action by sampling the company’s innovative protein bar and drink applications at booth #3751.

In addition, experts will be on hand to show how Excellion® Textpro can be formulated into indulgent yet healthy protein bars. With more consumers prioritizing the sensory experience of their favorite products,3 Excellion® Textpro can be used to develop high-protein bars with a softer texture and reduced product hardening throughout a shelf life of up to 12 months. Attendees can find out how to tap into the better-for-you snack movement by sampling a tasty, healthy, indulgent protein bar with no added sugar.

“We’re firmly in the ‘protein age’ where demand for high-quality protein in everyday products has never been higher,” comments Auke Zeilstra, Managing Director, North America at FrieslandCampina Ingredients. “Headlines surrounding growing GLP-1 use are also putting the spotlight on the growing nutritional gap many consumers face. This is opening the door for functional food and beverage brands to step in with novel high-protein applications that fit seamlessly into their daily routines – whatever lifestyle or age.”

Biotis®: whole body benefits

As consumers increasingly recognize the connection between gut health and overall well-being, prebiotics like galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) are becoming more popular – reflected in Google search volumes for prebiotics increasing by 66% in the last five years.4

To demonstrate the gut-supporting benefits of prebiotics and fibers, FrieslandCampina Ingredients will highlight Biotis® GOS at SupplySide Global. Visitors can discover the science behind the ingredient, as well as sample its light, sweet taste in a variety of applications, including gummies. GOS is also a star ingredient in Biotis® Fermentis, a fermented solution with whey protein and probiotic cultures. This unique formulation provides holistic health benefits in active and performance nutrition applications, as well as the potential to offer ongoing support for individuals transitioning off GLP-1 medications. Visitors can try a delicious on-the-go bar and sparkling drinks featuring Biotis® Fermentis at booth #3751.

“SupplySide Global is more than a showcase, it’s an opportunity to collaborate on the best, most inventive ways to meet consumers’ changing needs,” adds Sophie Zillinger Molenaar, Global Marketing Execution Lead, FrieslandCampina Ingredients. “We’re excited to bring inspirational applications to life at the show – allowing visitors to sample, savor, and see first-hand how our innovations help people thrive.”
