Succeeding Kyeong (KS) Yoon, Sang Shin has been appointed as the new President and CEO of Aloecorp. He took over duties and responsibilities beginning August 1, 2021.
He worked in Unigen, one of the sister companies in the ECONET group of companies since 2004 to support business expansion through accounting and finance activities. After 11 years, he transferred to ECONET Holdings. He spent the next three years as CFO, then another three years as the COO and president. He was in charge of overseeing operations in other affiliate ventures such as Unigen, Univera and Aloecorp.
Mr. Shin was then the CEO of Univera for 7 months last year. He was able to turn Univera into an online-based direct selling company, from its origins as an MLM-based one.
“As Aloecorp Global CEO, I will focus on combining and maximizing the synergetic effects through the three farming and operating companies each located in the US, Mexico, and China.” said Mr. Shin. “Based on the best quality, most sophisticated science, and proprietary processing methods from our own farms, manufacturing facilities, and R&D groups, we will still be the #1 Aloe ingredient provider.”
Mr. Shin hails from Korea and received his degree in Business Administration. He pursued his Master’s degree in Accounting in the U.S.
Today he leads Aloecorp, a vertically integrated, fine ingredient Aloe vera supplier that has facilities in the U.S., Mexico and China.
