Canovation to showcase metal resealable solution at PACK Expo

In efforts to continuously evolve the packaging industry through innovation, Canovation will be introducing its CanReseal® Ring-End (CRE™) technology during PACK Expo. This is the first all-metal resealable technology in the market today. These cans with threads turn aluminum cans into portable, resealable and sustainable packaging.

The CRE™ is a cost-effective open ring-end which provides room for aromatics and leads to better pouring capability. There’s no need for a conversion process that’s typical when manufacturing a can end. Clients can save on material and production expenses too, as scores, tabs or rivets will not be provided. Integrating this solution does not disrupt existing infrastructure or supply chain operations too.

“Our CanReseal technology changes everything,” said Chief Marketing Officer Michele Merrell. “Aluminum packaging has not evolved much for over 40 years, and it’s time for the industry to take a huge step towards a sustainable and resealable future without plastic. CanReseal has provided the world with the next generation of metal packaging.”

Canovation is also planning to unveil innovations on the easy-open end, and stay-on, and peel-off tabs during the Las Vegas event as well.
