Acquisition of ICA Automation by Tomahawk Automation Solutions announced

ICA Automation is set to join Tomahawk Manufacturing, through its acquisition by the latter’s subsidiary, Tomahawk Automation Solutions. Georgia-based ICA Automation provides innovative automation solutions and robotic technologies that are adopted by food processing and industrial clients.

This news comes from Tomahawk Automation Solutions releasing the new Robotic Pack-Off system (RPO), a state-of-the-art robotics system that improves safety and lower production costs. It can pick and place a range of fresh and frozen protein products in a single or stacked line, improving efficiencies and throughput.

Of the acquisition, Bob Tournour, President of Tomahawk said, “We are delighted to have ICA join the Tomahawk Family. We are excited about the capabilities, and expertise the ICA team has to offer, and we look forward to utilizing the synergy between the two organizations.”

Tomahawk Manufacturing continues to address consumer needs in the robotics and automation segment in the food processing industry. This new partnership will strengthen its position as a leader in innovative equipment and technologies.
