Barentz, a leading global specialty ingredients solutions provider, is pleased to announce a new distribution partnership with Chemian Technology, best known for its Citrepel® range of naturally based insect repellent active ingredients. Under this agreement, Barentz will distribute Chemian Technology’s product range across the Asia Pacific region, effective immediately.
Chemian Technology’s Citrepel® products are ethically sourced, naturally derived, and based on patented plant-based technology. These ingredients provide clinically proven protection for approximately six hours at 20% concentration and are effective against mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, sand flies, gnats, and other biting insects. The Citrepel® range offers a highly consistent, cost-effective, COSMOS-certified alternative to traditional synthetic materials, making it an ideal solution for formulators seeking sustainable high-performance actives.
Through this partnership, customers across the Asia Pacific region will benefit from Barentz’s strong local presence and technical expertise, ensuring reliable access to Chemian Technology’s naturally based, sustainable ingredients. Citrepel® products are not damaging to plastics and synthetics, further supporting their use in a wide range of personal and home care applications.
