Under the agreement, Brenntag Nutrition will serve as the authorised distributor for Genu-in in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, and Taiwan for premium collagen peptide and gelatin solutions for food and health applications.

Genu-in, a globally recognized producer of high-quality collagen peptides and gelatins

is part of JBS, a Brazilian multinational corporation and the world’s largest producer of animal protein. With a fully integrated supply chain, Genu-in sources its primary raw materials—bovine hides—directly from JBS’s own meat processing facilities. This vertical integration ensures full traceability and consistent quality from original cattle to final product.

The products covered under the distribution agreement include collagen peptides, which are known to promote skin elasticity, increase hydration, improve bone strength, density, and mass, and support joint flexibility and mobility. In addition, the agreement includes gelatin, a versatile ingredient widely used in the food industries for its gelling, stabilizing, and binding properties.

Kenneth Keh, Regional President, Nutrition Asia Pacific, Brenntag Specialties, said, “Partnering with Genu-In enables us to deliver high-quality, traceable collagen peptide and gelatin solutions across key markets in APAC. Their science-driven innovation and commitment to safety and sustainability align strongly with our values.”

Genu-in’s proprietary peptide profile tailoring technology—combining enzymatic hydrolysis with advanced proteomic analysis—ensures consistent performance and formulation precision in every batch. As part of the JBS ecosystem, Genu-in maintains the highest standards in food safety and environmental stewardship.

This strategic collaboration underscores Brenntag’s commitment to sourcing from world-class suppliers to meet the evolving needs of customers in the Asia-Pacific region.

Ricardo Gelain, Executive Director, Genu-in said, “We are excited to work with Brenntag as our distribution partner in Asia Pacific. As the world’s largest distributor of chemicals and ingredients, they offer unmatched market insight, commercial expertise, and regional reach. We believe their strong local presence and customer-focused approach will help expand access to our collagen peptide and gelatin solutions and drive our growth across the region. Together, we can provide our clients with Industry 4.0 technology, high-quality and reliable raw materials, and the scientific research that supports the outstanding quality and efficacy of our products.”
