Asia’s leading food industry event, the 2025 FOOD TAIPEI MEGA SHOWS, officially opened today at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2. Organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), this flagship event brings together five concurrent exhibitions: FOOD TAIPEI, FOODTECH TAIPEI, BIO/PHARMATECH TAIWAN, TAIPEI PACK, and TAIWAN HORECA. Spanning four days through June 28, this year’s event sets new records with 1,650 exhibitors and 4,500 booths, underscoring Taiwan’s strong innovation and international appeal in the global food supply chain.
Pioneering the future: Precision nutrition and green intelligence
Themed “Precision Nutrition” and “Green Intelligence,” this year’s show reflects the industry’s commitment to digital transformation, net-zero goals, sustainable packaging, and healthy diets. A newly launched 3D visual identity symbolizes the synergy among the five shows and illustrates the convergence of food, technology, and culture, highlighting the limitless potential of future food development.
Spotlight on innovation: Future Food Pavilion and global showcase
The Future Food Pavilion is a highlight of the exhibition, featuring breakthroughs in plant-based innovation, novel ingredients, and precision nutrition technologies. Exhibits across the third floors of TaiNEX 1 and 2 showcase a wide array of frozen ready meals, AIoT-enhanced Taiwanese cuisine, and premium sustainable health foods, reflecting both technological progress and cultural richness.
International participation also reached an all-time high, with companies from 33 countries. Global specialties such as Mongolian pine nuts, Korean deer antler supplements, Japanese heritage cola syrup, Mozambican organic tea, Spanish olive oil, and Indian sustainable seafood embody the event’s global reach and product diversity.
Taiwan’s local strength and agricultural innovation
Taiwan’s local presence is equally impressive. 16 city and county government pavilions are joining this year, including Pingtung and Tainan, returning after several years. The Taiwan Pavilion, themed “Elevating Taste, Sharing with the World,” features 93 premium domestic brands, while the Taichung Pavilion focuses on organic produce and innovative agricultural products. Leading companies such as Lian-Hwa Foods, Chi Mei, and Anyong Freshmart represent the diversity and energy of Taiwan’s food industry.
