The WorldStar Packaging Awards recognises companies that are committed to rolling out sustainable packaging innovations for various industries. For 2022, packaging and paper supplier Mondi was given 9 awards in 6 categories for products that span across the food, point of sale and eCommerce sectors.

This recognitions shows that Mondi’s offerings are some of the best in the industry, focusing on sustainability, end-user convenience and product protection. Some of the products include the CoralTray, which is a recyclable alternative to conventional vegetable trays. The WalletPack is a recyclable mono-material that prevents food spoilage, while the Functional Barrier Paper is set to replace plastic films and laminates.
