An international event dedicated to the yellow kiwi supply chain: growers, technicians, and partners from four continents
A two-day event organized by Dorì will take place across Faenza, Castel Bolognese, Imola (in the Emilia-Romagna region), and Latina (in the Lazio region)—all located in Italy. The Italian yellow kiwi company brings together, for the seventh consecutive year, during Dorì Day, growers, packing houses, and technical partners involved in the production and processing of this premium variety.
As in previous years—and further confirming the growing global interest in this variety—Dorì Day will once again take on an international dimension, welcoming participants from countries including Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, Australia, Chile, and South Africa.
The program begins on Tuesday, September 9, with a visit to the GranFrutta Zani packing facility and nearby orchards in the Faenza area. At 1:00 PM, a buffet lunch will be served, followed by a visit to the Dorì orchards in Castel Bolognese. The day will conclude with a technical symposium, featuring insights and testimonials from international agronomists and growers, held at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Autodrome in Imola, including a guided tour of the venue and a gala dinner.
On Wednesday, September 10, the event will move south to the Lazio region, with a visit to kiwi orchards in the Latina area, also in Italy.
“We are proud to host this seventh edition of Dorì Day in Emilia-Romagna and Lazio, where Dorì growers continue to achieve excellent results,”
says Giampaolo Dal Pane, President of Dorì International. “Once again this year, we expect a strong harvest—both in quality and fruit size—which will further consolidate Dorì’s positioning as a top-tier name in the fruit and vegetable sector.”
The event is organized by Dorì International, the joint venture between Innovation Fruit and Los Andes Fruit, together with Origine Group, the consortium that brings together nine leading fruit companies from Italy and Chile. The event’s main sponsor is Unitec, supported by Comavit, Ital-TVT, Boscato Agrotextiles, AgroFresh, and Overtis.
To attend Dorì Day, registration is required by September 5 via email: info@dorikiwi.com
