20th editions of IFTECH Pakistan and Plasti&Pack Pakistan 2025 kick off today at Lahore Expo Centre

The 20th editions of the International Exhibition of Food & Beverage Processing & Packaging – IFTECH Pakistan and Plasti&Pack Pakistan — the country’s premier exhibitions for the food, plastics, and packaging industries — officially opened today at Expo Centre Lahore.  

Organized by Pegasus Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., the exhibitions were inaugurated by Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, Honorable Minister for Industries, Commerce & Investment, Punjab. The ceremony was also graced by distinguished dignitaries, including the President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), CEO Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT), President Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCJCCI), and Acting Chairman of the Flexible Packaging Association of Converters of Pakistan (FLEXPAC).

In his remarks, the Minister congratulated Pegasus Consultancy for consistently promoting key industrial sectors and commended the exhibitions’ role in strengthening Pakistan’s manufacturing base and enhancing economic growth. These landmark exhibitions mark two decades of excellence, innovation, and international collaboration, serving as the country’s premier B2B platforms for advancing industrial technologies in food processing, packaging, plastics, and printing sectors. Pakistan’s growing consumer market, industrial development, and export potential continue to drive strong interest in these sectors. 

IFTECH and Plasti&Pack have become vital forums for introducing the latest global technologies, fostering partnerships, and catalyzing economic growth. 

Global participation and industry engagement 

This year’s exhibitions have attracted over 200 companies from more than 30 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Pakistan, Philippine, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, UK and USA. 

Alongside the exhibits, Pegasus is also hosting the International IFTECH Conference, under the theme “Shaping Tomorrow’s Food Industry: Innovations, Intelligence & Integrity,” featuring experts and thought leaders from across the globe. The conference is organized in collaboration with National Alliance for Safe Food as Conference Partner. The exhibitions also include an exclusive Business Matchmaking Program, designed to facilitate B2B connections, joint ventures, and trade discussions among local manufacturers, international suppliers, and potential investors.
