Chalu Apna Desi Chinese, the beloved Indian-Chinese restaurant chain, is building upon its remarkable success with over 200 outlets across India. The opening of its first international venture in Ontario, Canada, in June 2024 marked a significant milestone in the brand’s global journey after winning hearts across 33 cities in India. With this opening in Canada, Chalu Apna Desi Chinese introduced Canadian food lovers to its bold, flavourful take on Desi Chinese cuisine.

Founded by Vibhanshu Mishra in 2020, Chalu Apna Desi Chinese has become a household name blending the rich spices of Indian cooking with the umami flavors of Chinese dishes with signature dishes like Hakka Noodles with a desi twist to aromatic Manchurian curries, where every dish is crafted to offer an explosion of flavors tailored to the Indian and global palate, achieving a turnover of ₹53 crore in FY23 and a valuation of nearing ₹100 crore.

The first Canadian outlet is located at Trafalgar Crossing, with plans to establish 25 outlets across Canada by the end of 2025, with further plans of expansion into Arizona, USA, with an additional 10 outlets.

Talking about the opening of the first outlet and global explains, the founder of Chalu Apna Desi Chinese Vibhanshu Mishra said, “Bringing Chalu Apna Desi Chinese to Canada was a dream come true. Our vision has always been to revolutionize the fast-food industry by offering a unique blend of quirky fusion of Desi Chinese cuisine that excites the taste buds and brings cultures together. Canada is the perfect place to start our global journey due to its rich diversity and love for global cuisine, to share our passion for Desi Chinese.”

The outlet in Canada, maintaining Chalu Apna Desi Chinese’s promise of freshness, quality, and authenticity, will offer quick service, home deliveries, takeaways, and a lively dine-in experience will be available to customers. Natural ingredients will be used and added colors or artificial enhancers like Ajinomoto will be avoided to ensure wholesome meals that taste as good as they feel.

On its way to its global adventure, the brand expects 70 percent growth in revenues in this fiscal year as it aims to capitalize on its record track and the quality of the cuisine.

Food lovers in Canada can enjoy the #Bchalu experience as Chalu Apna Desi Chinese gears up to open up their new restaurants across India and globally. Stay tuned for grand opening announcements, exciting offers, and a taste of India’s favorite Desi Chinese cuisine!
