Foodmach, Australia’s leading provider of turnkey packaging and intralogistics automation, has been appointed as an official partner for ACTIW Intralogistics and Joloda Hydraroll across Australia and New Zealand.

This strategic appointment marks a major expansion of Foodmach’s capabilities in factory-to-freight automation. ACTIW and Joloda’s globally proven One Shot Loading systems are designed to radically improve the safety and efficiency of truck, trailer, and container loading across a wide range of industries.

ACTIW, the Finnish pioneer in fully automated loading, was recently acquired by UK-based Joloda Hydraroll to form the world’s most advanced loading technology group.

Together, they offer high-speed loading systems capable of:

  • Reducing loading times by up to 50%
  • Cutting labour and forklift use by up to 80%
  • Minimising loading dock congestion and workplace injury
  • Seamlessly integrating into ERP and warehouse systems

The partnership with Foodmach brings these capabilities to Australian and New Zealand manufacturers through a local, trusted engineering integrator with complete turnkey services—including system design, project engineering, on-site installation, and ongoing support.

“We are especially pleased to welcome Foodmach into our global distribution network,” said Barton Jory, Automated Loading Sales Manager (Asia Pacific), Joloda Hydraroll Group. “Foodmach’s long-standing reputation in automation, their in-depth expertise in unit load handling and project integration, and their relationships with multinational FMCG and beverage producers make them the perfect fit to deliver our automated trailer loading solutions in the region.”

Foodmach CEO Rob Niggl echoed the sentiment:

“We’re thrilled to add ACTIW and Joloda to our stable of world-class technology partners. Their systems are a perfect complement to our end-to-end packaging automation solutions. With increasing demand for safer, faster and more efficient intralogistics, we can now offer customers full-line automation from pack to dock.”

The announcement comes at a time when manufacturers and logistics providers are under increasing pressure to optimise workflows, reduce labour dependency, and improve overall site safety, especially around traditionally high-risk areas like loading docks.

By integrating automated loading into its existing capabilities, Foodmach now offers a total solution for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), warehousing, logistics, and heavy industry clients looking to modernise their operations.
