Receiving this recognition for the second year running, the award is a demonstration of Azelis’s commitment to innovate and develop formulations that meet evolving consumer demands of the Indian market

Sugar-Free Postbiotic Gummies is a formulation developed to meet the growing demand for health-conscious, functional supplements. Presented in a gummy format, it overcomes a formulation challenge of the category: to deliver sweetness, stability, and a delightful chewy texture, all without relying on sugar or animal-derived gelatin. In addition to being vegan-friendly, the gummies offer a convenient and enjoyable format that supports natural defences and gut health through clinically supported postbiotics. By using a plant-based gelling agent, the formulation ensures a consistent bite and smoother texture, enhancing the overall experience.

The innovation stood out among 11 prototype displays submitted by exhibitors for the FI India 2025 Innovative Product Showcase Award. Voted by the FI India exhibitors and visitors, the award reflects Azelis’s dedication to supporting manufacturers in enhancing operational efficiency through smart formulation design, while also meeting rising consumer demand for healthier, tastier products. By combining technical excellence with market insight, Azelis continues to deliver pioneering solutions that shape the future of functional nutrition.

Aparna Khurana, Regional Managing Director of Azelis India, comments:

“This award is a testament to our team’s commitment to innovation and technical excellence. We’re proud to have developed and prototyped a formulation that not only meets the growing demand for health-conscious products but also delivers on taste, texture and functionality without compromise. At Azelis, we’re constantly pushing the boundaries of formulation science to work with our customers to bring smarter, healthier, and more appealing products to market.”
