After cancelling the original schedule in 2021, Anuga FoodTec is coming back to Cologne, Germany as a physical and online trade fair. To be held on April 26 to 29, the International Suppliers Fair for the Food and Beverage Industry is set to take stage at Koelnmesse. This is one of the major international industry physical events that will take place after the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will be a special edition event, as this year, the digital platform AnugaFoodTec @home will run alongside the physical trade fair. This allows a wider reach for suppliers and more opportunities to network and connect even with those who can’t be at the event in-person.
Around 1,000 suppliers from over 40 countries that specialize in production, processing and packaging are set to participate. Global trends and future perspectives in these major segments will be discussed, while companies can showcase innovations and solutions across the value chain.
Additionally, new segments will be introduced during the event. These are digitalisation, automation, intralogistics, environment and energy, science and pioneering. Key topics that will be highlighted by selected speakers include alternative protein, sustainable packaging, solutions for increased energy efficiency, liquid processing, Industry 4.0 technology and food safety
Cem Özdemir, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture will open Anuga FoodTec.
