Brenntag Specialties and Oriental Yeast to boost India’s distillery industry with locally produced fresh yeast

Brenntag, the global market leader in chemical and ingredients distribution, announced that it has been appointed by Oriental Yeast India as its distributor for KOBO® distillers crumbled fresh yeast in India.

Manufactured at Oriental Yeast India‘s state-of-the-art facility near Pune, India, KOBO® crumbled fresh yeast is specifically designed for grain alcohol applications in the distillery industry. As a fresh, high-performance yeast, it enhances efficiency by ensuring consistent fermentation, improving production reliability, and reducing waste. This results in optimal yield and quality, helping distillers achieve superior performance with every batch.
