Dubai World Trade Centre to host several events in the Food, Hotel, and Catering industries this November 2022

Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), as a highly respected and recognised organisation in the exhibition scene, serves as the bridge that connects people, products, and ideas worldwide through its vast and diverse array of international trade fairs and consumer shows. Established in 1979, DWTC boasts of a purpose-built complex that hosts some of the biggest and most sought-after exhibitions attended by millions of people from all over the world. It has served and continues to serve as a platform that allows businesses to expand their network and broaden their business capabilities. Over the years, it has cemented its name as the epicentre of business in the Middle East, creating jobs and shaping the future of Dubai as the go-to avenue for networking and partnership building.  

Dubai World Trade Centre aims to make each visitor’s experience as unforgettable and meaningful as possible. The exhibition centre and event space spans over 1.3 million square feet, featuring 21 halls and more than 40 meeting rooms. It attracts attendees from 185+ countries, promotes over 50,000 exhibition companies, and hosts more than 500 events annually. From 8 to 10 November 2022, Dubai World Trade Centre will host a number of food, hotel, and catering events, including:

  • Gulf Host  

The show will feature a host of pre-qualified hospitality equipment and food service products. The event has an international visitor profile and presents and business matchmaking programme that stimulates collaboration between buyers and suppliers.  

  • Gulfood Manufacturing 

The event will showcase some of the best and up-and-coming ingredients and innovative technologies to help businesses improve their business processes through innovation, cost-reduction, and process growth and scaling. For three days, attendees can convene with 1,600 F&B manufacturers from more than 60 countries to discuss the latest solutions in the supply chain, automation, ingredients, and processing.  

  • ISM Middle East (Yummex ME) 

ISM ME, formerly known as Yummex ME, the show of choice for the region’s leading sweets and snack industries, will take place in the heart of the Middle East in November 2022. Building on the global reputation of the ISM brand family, the show will offer exciting networking possibilities, world-renowned brands, and international visitors.

This year ISM ME will lay special emphasis on chocolate, confectionery, desserts, snack foods, ice cream, fine bakery and dates & date palm products, providing significant opportunities for companies to network and build their brand and widen their trade circle across the MENA region.

From the Global Date Market, new product showcase, and ISM Newcomer – experience these activations all under one roof at Dubai World Trade Centre from 8 – 10 November 2022.

  • Private Label & Licensing Middle East 

The event, attended by over 6,000 visitors, will help connect businesses with some of the most recognised names in the HORECA, retail, and travel. Attendees can get the latest in the private label and licensing scene, along with marketing challenges and growth opportunities.  

  • The Specialty Food Festival 

From 8-10 November 2022, The Speciality Food Festival will turn Dubai World Trade Centre into a bustling global marketplace and experiential ground for everything artisanal, speciality food and exotic ingredients. Catering to the exclusive hospitality & institutional sectors and the specialist buyers of premium products across the Middle East, The Speciality Food Festival returns with its unique platform where buyers can taste and sample premium brands.

The show will bring together the region’s top chefs, restauranteurs, hoteliers, retailers and food service providers to address the industry’s pressing needs and opportunities. With its 11th edition, the Specialty Food Festival is celebrating premium food exhibitors where well-known brands will showcase their products across 6 core sectors: Artisan & Gourmet, Organic & Free-From, Health & Wellness, Vegan & Plant Based, Food Service and Speciality Coffee, drawing almost thousands of buyers to the global centre for the international hospitality trade.

Visitors of the show will get the chance to meet and interact with hundreds of exhibitors from around the region in what is one of the world’s biggest and busiest fine food marketplaces. Alongside these major trade deals, networking sessions and sourcing activities, attendees can also join a series of masterclasses and watch the UAE Cup Tasters Championship. Also worth visiting at the show is Top Table, where a star-studded line-up of acclaimed and homegrown chefs, as well as brand leaders, will set the stage ablaze with their fiery culinary ideas and innovations through a series of workshops, demonstrations and cook-offs.
