FrieslandCampina Ingredients, a global leader in protein and prebiotics, is set to highlight its application expertise at Fi Europe (19-21 November 2024) in Frankfurt. At booth 3.0D100, visitors will discover how the company’s latest innovations can help them unlock exciting new possibilities in performance and active nutrition, as well as early life and medical nutrition. With a focus on holistic health, FrieslandCampina Ingredients will showcase a lineup of concepts, including brand-new delicious bars featuring Biotis® Fermentis and innovative high-protein ready-to-drink (RTD) concepts crafted to deliver exceptional nutritional value and consumer appeal. The early life nutrition team will also be on hand to spotlight its Step Up Nutrition platform – designed to help manufacturers support the development and well-being of children aged three and older.

Elevating the game through the gut

As new science reveals the foundational role the gut microbiome has on various health areas, including muscle health, and with 4 out of 5 consumers seeking additional health benefits from sports nutrition products,1 the opportunity for innovation is clear. At Fi Europe 2024, FrieslandCampina Ingredients will introduce its new Biotis® Fermentis bar concept to inspire brands in the performance and active nutrition space. This solution combines the benefits of proteins, prebiotics and probiotic cultures by fermenting them together to effectively target the gut-muscle axis. Not only is it easy to integrate into busy routines, but this GOS- and protein-rich concept also meets consumer demand for fermented products – increasingly recognised for their positive gut-supporting benefits.

At booth 3.0D100, attendees can also sample FrieslandCampina Ingredients’ new range of high-protein ready-to-drink concepts. Data indicates that the European protein RTD market is projected to reach $534.09 million by 2030, with a CAGR of 6.2% from 2023 to 2030.2 To help manufacturers master protein taste and texture, Ramon Mommersteeg, Marketing Manager at FrieslandCampina Ingredients and Stella Effraimidou – Technical Sales Specialist at FrieslandCampina Ingredients will hold a talk entitled ‘Elevate your consumer experience, by levelling up your high protein products’ on Tuesday 19 November, 4:00 pm, in the Exhibitor Showcase Theatre (3.0K2).

‘Stepping Up’ early life nutrition for children’s health

At Fi Europe 2024, FrieslandCampina Ingredients is taking a holistic approach to health across all stages of life. Attendees at the event will have the opportunity to learn more about the company’s Step Up Nutrition platform and how it’s designed to address parents’ top concerns and support kids in growing big and strong. This cross-category portfolio focuses on five key development and well-being areas for children aged 3+, including growth & development, immunity, cognition, mental well-being and gut health. Manufacturers can discover how to leverage this innovative platform to create effective child nutrition solutions during the talk ‘Step Up Nutrition: Fueling tomorrow’s potential’ by Yinyin Guan, Marketing Manager at FrieslandCampina Ingredients, scheduled on Tuesday 19 November at 4:30 pm in the Exhibitor Showcase Theatre (3.0K2).
