Global industrial gases and engineering company Linde has introduced its upgraded monitoring system for cryogenic freezers. The Cryoconnect® RM tool provides food manufacturers online access to current and historical freezer data anytime and anywhere these are needed. In effect, real-time data analysis is possible to ensure the equipment’s optimal performance.
Operational sensors are used to collect data, which are then sent to those involved in the shop floor – managers, operators, analysts and even Linde technicians. The upgraded operator interface shows the entire system overview, making it more efficient to know what’s going on. The system offers secure remote data access, customisable graphic reporting and mobile alerts as well. Reports can be automatically generated every month or quarter.
These features will enable companies to increase uptime of processing, adjusting and troubleshooting certain processes right away.
“The CRYOCONNECT® RM remote monitoring system gives food manufacturers better information for managing the performance of their cryogenic freezers,” said Chris Johnson, Director of Business Development at Linde. “Current and historic operational data is accessible online, so authorized personnel can see and analyze the ongoing freezer operation. We’ve also made the reporting function more robust to facilitate performance review and planning.”
