BACARDÍ rum, the world’s most awarded rum, with more than 1,000 awards for quality, taste, and innovation, proudly unveils the return of its annual rum month festivities. With over 10 events happening across 53 participating bars, this year’s celebration promises to be even bigger and more vibrant than before. Anchored around the international celebrations of three iconic rum cocktails – International Piña Colada Day on July 10, International Mojito Day on July 11, and International Daiquiri Day on July 19 – celebrants can sip on an array of classic serves, as well as innovative twists on well-loved rum cocktails.,

The month kicks off with guest shifts at Neon Pigeon and Origin, which will host some of the region’s most distinguished bar teams, such as Shanghai’s The Odd Couple and Bangkok’s Lost in Thaislation. Please find the full list of events in the appendix for download below.

The festivities peak at Jungle Ballroom on 11 July as we celebrate Mojito Day with the ultimate summer party. Guests are invited to soak up the Caribbean vibes with Head Bartender Adrian Besa, who will be shaking up rum cocktails alongside an all-female lineup, including Senior Bar Supervisor Sylvia Chong from ATLAS, Bartender Giselle Lee from Employees Only, Head Bartender June Baek from Ola Beach Club, and Bacardi-Martini Brand Ambassador Maria Kim. These mixology maestros will transform the quintessential BACARDÍ Mojito into their own refreshingly delicious signature twists, as a tropical DJ set embodying the ‘sound of rum’ whisks guests to the dance floor, and transports their senses to the shores of Havana; this is an event not to be missed.

On 20 July from 5 pm onwards, guests are invited to revel in the vibrant atmosphere at Yardbird’s Soul of Miami party. Besides exciting mixology, this event promises to be a highlight of Bacardi Rum Month with a fantastic lineup of drinks and lively entertainment.

Smoke & Mirrors pulls out all the stops to host Manila’s ReCraft on 22 July, while MO BAR Singapore invites guests down to get tropical with a vibrant tiki bash on 27 July. This event will feature a live band and three specially crafted cocktails, each offering a unique twist on classic tiki-style favourites to celebrate Rum Month, transforming the Daiquiri, Piña Colada, and Mojito into innovative delights perfect for the peak of the summer season. From 31 July to 1 August, Sugarhall welcomes the acclaimed Shanghai destination SoberCompany by Shingo Gokan for a two-day affair. Partygoers can look forward to a celebration of all things rum, paired with a plethora of curated bites from its famed Sober Kitchen.

Because one month alone isn’t enough to share the love for rum, the festivities ramp up in August, too, as Bangkok’s Dry/Wave Cocktail Studio takes over Offtrack, inviting revellers to raise a glass and toast to Singapore’s perpetual summer. Meanwhile, Nativewelcomes Penang’s Backdoor Bodega to showcase an ultimate evening of BACARDÍ rum cocktail creativity, with the brand’s versatile portfolio of classic and premium rums taking centre stage.

“BACARDÍ rum is aged in the Caribbean sun and has a storied history with heritage rum cocktails,” says Maria Kim, Brand Ambassador of Bacardi-Martini in Singapore. “The BACARDÍ Daiquiri, BACARDÍ Mojito and BACARDÍ Piña Colada are beloved by cocktail lovers and an integral part of both summer, and our brand’s DNA, so we are thrilled to be celebrating these drinks once again this year with our Singaporean patrons. Come down, join us at some of our island’s most celebrated bars, dance to the sound of rum, and beat the heat with a delicious rum cocktail in hand as we shout ‘salud!’ to the spirit of summer.”

Patrons can book events for BACARDÍ Rum Month directly on the websites of the participating bars.
