Kimchi is one dish that’s gaining popularity beyond South Korea and Asia and reaching dinner tables across the world. Many have discovered the many health benefits it provides to anyone consuming it. Besides fiber and probiotics, it also contains vitamins A, B, and C. High in nutrients, yet low in calories, this food is a staple for those looking to shed a few pounds too.

TCI Japan is the first to fully isolate lactobacillus planatarum TCI 378 from kimchi. When injected into food items and supplements, this can provide the same level of probiotics that you gain from consuming large amounts of kimchi. The company utilised a proprietary extraction and “amplification” process in order to do so.

This type of good bacteria is resistant to acid and bile salts. It also helps colonize the intestinal tract, which is the perfect environment for probiotics to effectively do its role. TCI 378 can help increase fat and cholesterol metabolism, and improve the body’s overall gastrointestinal function. It has become one of the more popular ingredients found in health products worldwide.

TCI is a chemical manufacturer supplies high-quality organic reagents. The company continuously seeks out technological innovations and scientific breakthroughs to further improve their product offerings.
