The U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) is excited to announce its participation in the FHA-Food & Beverage exhibition on April 8-11, 2025, at the Singapore Expo. Located in Hall 7, Booth #7B1-01, the USA Pavilion managed by USDEC will spotlight a curated selection of premium USA Cheeses, showcasing their innovation, versatility, and quality.

Celebrating U.S. cheesemakers

The U.S. cheese industry is known for its excellence, producing hundreds of varieties of cheese. As the world’s largest single-country cheese producer and exporter, U.S. cheesemakers are recognized internationally for their innovation and craftsmanship.

At FHA 2025, visitors will experience the diverse flavour profiles of USA Cheeses and learn how they can elevate local food and beverage offerings. Eight leading U.S. dairy suppliers will present their diverse portfolios, including Agropur, Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI), Dairy Farmers of America, First District Association, Schreiber Foods, Schuman Cheese, Talmera USA Inc., and Tropical Foods LLC.

U.S. Dairy: A growing presence in Southeast Asia

The U.S. is the world’s largest producer of cow’s milk, with over 9.4 million cows. In 2024, the U.S. exported over 17,000 metric tons of cheese to Southeast Asia, including key markets like Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. As demand for premium cheese grows in the region, U.S. dairy is gaining recognition for its consistent quality and unique offerings.

Dali Ghazalay, Regional Director for USDEC in Southeast Asia, notes, “The success of USA cheeses at international competitions highlights their global appeal. We’ve identified a growing demand in Southeast Asia for high-quality cheeses, and we’re excited to offer innovative, award-winning options to this evolving market.”

The U.S. cheese community continues to earn international acclaim. In the 2024-2025 World Cheese Awards, U.S. producers won 160 medals, and at the 2024-2025 International Cheese Dairy Awards, they earned 84 medals. These achievements speak to the superior quality of USA cheeses, which are consistently recognized for their quality, innovation, and craftsmanship.

Culinary demonstrations by Chef Imran

To further showcase the versatility of USA cheeses, Chef Imran, Vice President of the Singapore Halal Culinary Federation and certified USA Cheese Specialist, will host daily culinary demonstrations at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Chef Imran will highlight the adaptability of USA cheeses across a variety of cuisines, with themes including:
