SINGAPORE, 13 December 2022 — Float Foods, a Singapore start-up enterprise pioneering food technologies and innovations in plant-based foods, today announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with DayDayCook to offer ready-to-cook Meal Kits incorporating its proprietary plant-based egg, OnlyEgTM.
The OnlyEgTM Meal Kits prepared by DayDayCook for the Hong Kong Market include a diverse variety of Chinese and Asian cuisines prepared by chefs in over 6-8 complete meal options. With ready-to-cook meals prepared in about 15 minutes, the new OnlyEgTM Meal Kits take on the planning, cutting, and preparation so that meals become effortless and fast. “People have enjoyed the experience of cooking and eating at home but are also hard-pressed for time and energy. The OnlyEgTM Meal Kits offer the chance to elevate the dining experience by introducing clean, contemporary, healthy meals, said Norma Chu, Founder, and CEO of DayDayCook. “Eating a healthy protein-rich meal should be accessible to everyone and bring a sense of celebration at the same time.” The new range of ready-to-cook meals will be made available for distribution through an omnichannel sales strategy, including e-commerce and B2B segments such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, caterers, cloud kitchens, and institutional cafeterias.

DayDayCook will be initiating the rollout of the Meal Kits in Hong Kong, to begin in the First Quarter of 2023, with plans for other nearby Chinese cities in the near future.
Float Foods has been making headway with upcoming launches and exciting prototypes for new plant-based egg products under the OnlyEgTM line. They launched four ready-to-eat products: the OnlyEgTM Shreds, OnlyEgTM Omelette, OnlyEgTM Tamagoyaki, and OnlyEgTM Patties in Singapore in June 2022, and are already Singapore’s fastest-selling plant-based egg brand, with adoption amongst Marina Bay Sands, Shangri-La Singapore, Fairmont Singapore, Conrad Centennial Singapore, and well-known cafes and restaurants such as OldTown White Coffee, Poke Theory, Salad Stop, and Cedele.
