Japan-based Toppan has successfully contributed to the global campaigns of creating a more sustainable society through its flexible packaging solutions. Shipments of the GL BARRIER, a transparent barrier film that’s incorporated in retort food packaging and mono-material packaging with spouts, have saved 63,000 metric tons of carbon emissions. Cargill expands specialty fats production in Malaysia

Following a growing customer demand for specialty fats, Cargill has invested $100 million to further upgrade its dedicated facility in Port Klang, Malaysia. This plant will host dry palm fractionation equipment and other state-of-the-art tools to help it continue to supply the ingredient to the Asia-Pacific region.
