Yili Group’s dairy factory based in Yunnan, China was recently given the PAS 2060 certification on carbon neutrality. This was awarded by Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspection and certification, making the facility the first to be certified as such in China. Ingredients supplier BENEO has invested about €30 million to increase the global production of prebiotic chicory root fibre to meet the rising consumer demand.
